John Brennan is Managing Director of Arthur D. Little, Inc. leading the firm’s management and technology consulting businesses in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Mr. Brennan began his career locating venture-capital financing for early-stage technology firms and developing their growth strategies through to Initial Public Offerings (IPOs). In 1989, Mr. Brennan joined Arthur D. Little and spent the next decade in a variety of management consulting positions leading major corporate- and technology-based strategic initiatives across North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Brennan left the firm in 1998 and went on to become Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Protocare, Inc. as well as President and Head of R&D at ReasonEdge Technologies, Inc. In January 2004, Mr. Brennan returned to Arthur D. Little where he serves as an Officer of the Company and a Member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Brennan has led the Technology and Innovation Management business since 2004 and also served as the Global Leader of the firm’s Healthcare, Consumer, and Life Sciences Practice. Mr. Brennan specializes in technology innovation and product commercialization through the development and implementation of technology, corporate, and commercial marketing strategies. More specifically, Mr. Brennan’s expertise lies in R&D portfolio management, technology strategy formulation, innovation management, technology assessment, supply chain management, franchise strategy development, and product launch planning and implementation. Mr. Brennan has also structured, negotiated and/or advised on over $3 Billion of transactions during his career as well as provided due-diligence advisory services relative to mergers, acquisitions, technology licensing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. He has significant expertise in the financing and development of early-stage technology ventures as well as successful post-merger integration expertise.
Mr. Brennan holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross as well as Masters degrees from Harvard University and Northeastern University.
